Pennsylvania Psychiatric Society-Western Chapter Fireside Chat
About this event
Fireside Chat
An interactive discussion with Sharon Coggan, Ph.D.
Wednesday, November 9, 2022 – 7:00-8:00 PM Eastern
The Pennsylvania Psychiatric Society-Western Chapter invite PaPS members and colleagues to join us for this highly thought-provoking and unique seminar-style discussion.
Dr. Coggan is a trained expert in Jungian Psychoanalysis. In her recent work, “Sacred Disobedience: A Jungian Analysis of the Saga of Pan and the Devil,” she incorporates an understanding of ancient Greek mythology, theology and Western philosophy utilizing Jungian archetypal theory.
In the age of advances in information and technology and widespread misinformation, it's useful for a dialectic discourse to evaluate the symbolic meanings of the evolution of various thoughts, cultures, and traditions.
In clinical settings, many struggle with these issues, and Dr. Coggan’s work inspires viewing them from a unique vantage point and develops approaches using the principles of Carl G. Jung's school of Analytical Psychology.
This virtual event is free event for members. There is a $25 fee for non-members.
