We hope you are enjoying summer and staying cool. Please find a couple of updates from PRMS below, including the second installment of our quarterly resident newsletter, “Resident Owlery,” here. We hope this risk management resource will be of interest to your trainee members!

Resident Owlery Newsletter

“Resident Owlery” was developed by Professional Risk Management Services to provide psychiatry residents in training with ‘owl they need’ to help manage their risks as they prepare to start their psychiatric careers. Featuring risk management resources, educational articles, and the latest announcements and events from PRMS, this quarterly newsletter shares relevant news and useful tips to help keep psychiatrists, their patients, and their practices safe. The latest issue from PRMS covers matters such as building key relationships and employment contracts.

PRMS Blogs

Our blog has been active this summer covering a variety of topics, from a recap of our reception and meetings in San Francisco this past May to a biographical piece by Dr. William Lawson, President of Senior Psychiatrists, on his work to improve disparities in access to care for African American and Hispanic patients. Read both articles and more at PRMS.com/blog.

Have a safe and fun rest of July!
